Should I stim or should I not? The obvious answer is “make sure to use common sense.

Thinking back to the days when ephedrine was legal. people used to take some crazy doses which in part may be one of the reasons the ingredient is no longer available to be used in the dietary supplement space.

When contemplating should I stim or should I not, the decision should be made in consultation with a qualified healthcare professional. They can provide you with a wealth of information about the potential risks and benefits of using stimulants, and help you determine if they are appropriate for you.

To be clear, we are discussing natural ingredients such as caffeine, guarana, yerba mate, and kola nut which are legal stimulants. Medications like Adderall and Ritalin, which can also be considered stimulants, can be legally obtained with a prescription from a doctor. Still, when abused, they have a high potential for addiction.

When taken under the direction of a healthcare professional, the risk of addiction is greatly reduced. However, obtaining these medications through illegal or unauthorized means is not advisable.
