DermaNiA^® is a novel Manchurian wild rice (zizania latifolia) aerial extract.

Manchurian wild rice was first cultivated in ancient China for its grain to be consumed as a food but today, it is more commonly the stem of the plant that is consumed. DermaNiA^® uses only Manchurian wild rice grown in Korea and Japan. Through a proprietary extraction process using ethanol, water, and an enzymatic treatment, BTC Corporation, a partner of Gencor™ standardized the extract to tricin.
