Armada Nutrition, initially established by the ingredients distributor Prinova (Itasca, IL) in 2015 as a nutritional-powder contract manufacturer, has revealed its plan to rebrand as Prinova Nagase Group. This strategic renaming aims to synchronize with the global Prinova brand and spotlight Prinova’s vertical manufacturing capacities. The change is slated to come into effect on January 1, 2024, encompassing all three of Armada’s manufacturing facilities in Spring Hill, TN; Salt Lake City, UT; and Aylesford, UK.
The shift in name is intended to integrate the contract manufacturing of nutritional powders into the capabilities promoted under the Prinova brand worldwide, aligning with ingredient distribution, premix manufacturing, and flavor manufacturing, as detailed in the firm’s press release.
The addition of the Prinova name serves to underscore the supplementary services that Prinova extends to its clientele. Dan Force, vice president of marketing and innovation at Prinova, highlighted, “It’s the market intelligence on ingredients that really sets us apart for many customers. That, coupled with the services Prinova offers across multiple end-use-market forms.”
The company accentuates its role in supporting numerous nutrition powder brands venturing into the carbonated-beverage market by delivering a distinct amalgamation of product development, premix manufacturing, and flavor manufacturing. Additionally, the company asserts that it assists customers in achieving streamlined and efficient toll manufacturing, ensuring “complete control of their raw materials.”
