Smoothie Bowl with Chia Seeds Berries and Oats

  • 1 cup Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/3 cup cold unsweetened pomegranate juice
  • 1½ cups frozen tart cherries
  • 1/3 cup nonfat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup nonfat milk or dairy alternative such as almond or soy


  1. Oats, chia seeds, and pomegranate juice should all be added to the blender. Blend the oats until they are powdery. Add milk, yogurt, and cherries. Blend ingredients until smooth and cherries are pureed.
  2. Add more strawberries, oats, or chia seeds as a garnish.
